- Fares are one way and apply only on selected travel dates and days. Seats at the lead fare are limited.
- Qantas bases the advertised prices on paying at qantas.com by BPAY or PayID.
- AUD 359 covers Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington from Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, but only Auckland from Adelaide. Queenstown starts at AUD 379 from Melbourne and AUD 399 from Sydney and Brisbane.
- Qantas and Air New Zealand end their partnership on 7 April 2027, so check who operates any connection on a later trip.
AUD 359 one way across the Tasman, taxes included, gets you from Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane to Auckland, Christchurch or Wellington, and from Adelaide to Auckland, on selected dates between November 2026 and the end of September 2027.
One-way pricing suits a trip that lands on one island and leaves from the other, because you never pay for a return leg you do not want. If you would rather turn left, Premium Economy from Sydney to Auckland starts at AUD 599 and Business at AUD 749.
The lead fares sit on scattered days, so search with flexible dates. The prices assume you pay by BPAY or PayID. If a trip after 7 April 2027 relies on an Air New Zealand connection, check it before you pay, because the two airlines' partnership ends that day.
